In the project called Social Transport - with Community Organizing for Social Development in Hungary we want to use non-formal education in community development. We find it a perfect bottom-up tool to empower community and reach goals of a group. The aim is social development, awareness raising, and reducing gaps between the different strata of society.

The Migrant Solidarity is a group of refugees, migrants and Hugarians who work voluntarliy to improve their integration, and fight their political and basic rights.

Night Out (Tschechien, 2013)

Night Out is a fundraising activity that aims to support organizations working with homeless people. At the same time it endeavors to create a communication platform of various partners (university, homeless people, public, students). Project is managed on a volunteer basis, the project strives to earn finance for costs coverage with its own business activities.

Durch dieses Projekt wird auf innovative Art für die immer mehr um sich greifende Obdachlosigkeit sensibilisiert – mehr Menschen als erwartet haben sich tatsächlich aktivieren lassen. Ein nächtliches Ereignis, das die Stadt belebt und die verschiedenen Akteure miteinander vernetzt. Ein schwieriges Thema wird kreativ und mutig öffentlich aufgegriffen. Andere Städte sind bei der nächsten "Night Out" mit dabei. Auf dass die Öffentlichkeit ein soziales Phänomen nicht mehr so einfach ignorieren kann. Und die davon Betroffenen das Bild, das sich die anderen von ihnen machen, mit gestalten. So können im besten Sinne politische Prozesse ausgelöst werden…

The Cure (Wien, 2013)

The Cure ist ein Online-Abenteuer, in dem Jugendliche spielerisch den richtigen Umgang mit Geld trainieren. Obwohl österreichische 25-Jährige im Schnitt ein Minus von €6.000 am Konto haben, gibt es kaum Möglichkeiten, im sicheren Umfeld zu erlernen, wie nachhaltiges Geldverhalten funktioniert. Wir schaffen ein solches Umfeld durch einen Ansatz, der Jugendliche in ihrer Freizeit abholt.

Poor for the Poor (Ungarn, 2013)

Paradigm shift in the helping profession! We introduce a new profession called ‘Expert by Experience’ (= EE). The clients' practical life experience and their problem assessment may infiltrate into the specialists' common knowledge-treasure. EEs are poor people, who receive new skills at a special peer-group interest representation training. The user involvement may come true.

Menschen, die Armut kennen, weil sie in Armut gelebt haben, bekommen die Möglichkeit, genau mit dieser Erfahrung aus ihr herauszukommen und zugleich zu helfen. "Poor for the Poor" erkennt die 'Armutserfahrung' ähnlich einer Berufserfahrung als skills an und setzt sie in professioneller, das heißt auch bezahlter Weise, zur Armutsminderung ein. Eigene Erfahrung mit Armut wird als Expertise gesehen und innovativ eingesetzt. Zum Nutzen der Beteiligten und der Gesellschaft.

“Let´s Give a Chance - support and programs for parents and children under the legal and social protection” The project objective is to support families and help them in difficult social situation in the city of Ostrava, Czech Rep. The target group are families with children which find themselves endangered, especially foster parents and their children. Min. 30 families to be supported in 2013.

Mobile appliactions (Ungarn, 2013)

The updated Hallatlan sign language dictionary applications are available to download to smartphones and tablets (iOS and Android). Apperently 2500 words and senteces included. The signes visible in in short videos. The aim of this app is to offer an efficient tool for teaching and learning Hungarian Sign Language everywhere.

Kultur-und Bildungszentrum Industra (Tschechien, 2013)

Industra integriert auf eine einzigartige Art und Weise Kunst, Theater, Bewegung, Bildung, Innovation, Kreativität, Interkulturalität und Zivilgesellschaft zu einem harmonischen Ganzen.

Change Direction (Tschechien, 2013)

The mission of Change Direction project is to effectively help young people who have broken the law and thereby reduce the risk of their relapse into criminal activities, stabilize their self-assessment, improve their functioning within society. Program is an alternative to repressive measures, which lead to stigmatization and complicate further participation in society.

Roma Children Choir Čhavorenge (Tschechien, 2013)

Čhavorenge project wants to offer chance to Roma children and young people to develop their natural talent as they often come from socially excluded families. Here they gain experiences, know new people and other cultures. Under experienced guidance they develop their personality and are led to responsibility and independence. They become positive examples and take up a dialogue with the majority.
