Community barn in Markóc (Hungary)

The project connects learning and student research with a purposeful, meaningful activity; research is not l’art pour l’art activity but serves the interests of the local community at the same time. The empoverishment of villagers can be turned back by the reorganisation of the community and by the restoration of local natural resources. Both of these conditions need thinking and acting together in coordination. The infrastructural conditions of the above are not ready yet given (an appropriate site for community reunions and a processing workshop). This application is being written in order to create the above mentioned missing link.
