“Livelihood” (Slowakei)
Project “Livelihood” is focused on help to marginalized social groups, Roma community long term unemployed above all. The project main idea is to provide work in a way, so that the target group is able to realize it. Long term unemployment means not only pathology in the areas of abilities, work habits, but also huge psychical load, which accompanies big lifestyle changes. The stress which accompanies change of stereotypes often causes various health problems up to the level preventing employment. Work legislation (labour code) is too demanding for the target group in this respect. Long term unemployed and long term socially marginalized people are so far apart from the labour market and already so socially handicapped that they need a special tools and a time to be able to come back to the labour market.
