What is it about?

OLIve is an autonomous inclusive educational space for refugees. Through critical pedagogy, it opens up the classroom to those most excluded and marginalised. OLIve’s pedagogical goals are realised in a weekend education program to foster 3 goals: enhance educational inclusion; build pathways to stable and dignified employment; develop capacities to make active citizen claims. The teaching team also enacts a diversity of educational experiences, migratory backgrounds, nationality, age, and gender. OLIve is a site of knowledge production and a safe space for solidarity, activism, and advocacy.
