My Body is Mine is a project that brought the topic of body shaming into the public space in the Czech Republic as a phenomenon that is widely tolerated, despite the fact that it has already been clearly proven how directly it affects mental health. Insults, demeaning comments and unsolicited evaluations of appearance often result in anxiety, eating disorders and other psychological difficulties. Our aim is to highlight the need for non-violent and kind communication in relation to body image. We target young people through workshops in schools, parents and teachers and to general publics.
