Community and Fixing Workshop

The project addresses the challenge of eco-conscious living, sustainability, and community support in a multicultural and economically disadvantaged district. It helps individuals who cannot afford repairs or new purchases, particularly in rural areas, by offering repairs, donations, and volunteer support. The project also fosters social inclusion through community engagement and prejudice reduction.

Sustainability finds practical expression through this workshop dedicated to repairing and repurposing diverse items ranging from furniture and clothing to wheelchairs, bicycles, and electronics. Beyond environmental impact, the space functions as a community resource center where practical assistance with résumés, job searches, and service access remains readily available.
