O čem projekt je?

Youth workers from two boroughs in Vorarlberg in Western Austria, Lauterach and Hard, have joined forces to deal with the phenomenon of aggression and to discuss vandalism and public space. In this process, both commonly-held prejudices and young people’s need for public space are among the topics raised. Posters show different approaches and cardboard cut-outs of young people demonstrate their right to space. An instruction manual for the “Young Person Machine” has been written by and with young people and the mobile V³ station encourages active approaches to dealing with violence. A spin-off effect is that young people can experience how their energy can be used in a fun way, for example in can-throwing games. In the near future, the young people will design their own public space.
