The “Mentoring New Nursing Professionals” project focuses on staff retention. Mentoring strengthens professional identity and promotes the further development of skills. New nursing professionals are expected to provide high-quality care, but often have little influence. The concept supports career starters and experienced nursing professionals in transitioning to new practice environments. Good support facilitates integration and increases loyalty to the company—not only during induction, but also in the long term.M
