The majority of film-makers in Austria are without work between their project-based jobs. Volkshilfe Media Production is a media-based social employer which has a background of offering short and long-term unemployed media experts (not just in the film industry) with a centre point. The resulting areas of work include film and editorial services with a social added value – in collaboration with strong partners from the industry.
