After individual analysis, a social integration goal is formulated for poor families or families at risk of poverty and achievement of this is subsequently supported on a modular basis. It can involve childcare (kinder.netz) a youth centre (jugend.netz) or family groups (familien.netz), whereby materially poor and non-poor families are always mixed together. It can mean providing access to regional clubs (gemeinde.netz), to Internet (inter.netz), overcoming financial barriers preventing access to certain social activities (netz.pass). Since 2010, through its various "network services", the project has protected more than 200 families and more than 500 people from social exclusion.

The interconnected, complex offer provided by ‘despite everything - networked’ is tailored to individual problems faced by socially marginalized families. By combining personal initiative and professional support, opportunities arise for connecting in a 'natural' way with already existing networks. The complexity of the approach and the active participation of children, teenagers, and their families as a whole are very innovative. Being anchored in the community through activities on the local level strengthens the social network and thus contributes to improved social and personal co-existence.
